According to NBCUniversal, which owns Peacock, the average account watched three episodes of the series in one sitting, with some opting to watch all ten episodes in a single viewing window. Though exact numbers weren't shared, Twisted Metal joins the likes of Bel-Air, The Best Man: Final Chapters, Poker Face, and Based on a True Story as one of Peacock's top five original shows to date.
More significant than even the numbers provided by NBCUniversal is the fact that Twisted Metal appeared on Nielsen's streaming charts following its July 27 debut. The series garnered 400 million viewing minutes, making it one of the week's most-watched streaming originals. It's a significant accomplishment, as Nielsen's Top 10 streaming charts are often populated by Netflix originals, which have the benefit of more subscribers and typically more minutes as the episodes tend to be longer.
